- 1-2 tablespoon neutral oil
- 3-3½ cups sweet potatoes ½" cubed
- heaping ⅛ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
- ⅛ teaspoon chili powder
Warm oil in a large deep skillet over MEDIUM heat. Add diced sweet potatoes and stir to get coated in oil. This helps the spices stick.
Sprinkle potatoes evenly with salt, cinnamon, and chili powder. Reduce heat to MEDIUM-LOW, cover with lid, and cook 5 minutes undisturbed. Remove lid, increase heat to MEDIUM and cook 5 minutes stirring a few times to brown on all sides.
Remove from heat a serve warm.
