Spiced Orange Cranberry Sauce {Paleo}

Made with whole, fresh cranberries, this sauce is citrusy, tart and slightly sweet with notes of warm spices.

- 2 12oz bags fresh cranberries
- 2 large navel oranges zested and juiced
- 2 cups coconut sugar may sub granulated sugar for non-paleo
- 1 cinnamon stick
- ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon allspice
- 2 pinches salt
Combine all ingredients in a medium pot over MED-LOW heat and mix well: cranberries, orange zest, orange juice, coconut sugar, cinnamon stick, ground ginger, nutmeg, allspice, and salt.
Heat, stirring occasionally until most cranberries pop about 10-15 minutes. Serve immediately, at room temperature or cover and refrigerate.
