Spiced Orange Cranberry Sauce {Paleo}

Ingredients
  

  • 2 12oz bags fresh cranberries
  • 2 large navel oranges zested and juiced
  • 2 cups coconut sugar may sub granulated sugar for non-paleo
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon allspice
  • 2 pinches salt

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients in a medium pot over MED-LOW heat and mix well: cranberries, orange zest, orange juice, coconut sugar, cinnamon stick, ground ginger, nutmeg, allspice, and salt.
  • Heat, stirring occasionally until most cranberries pop about 10-15 minutes. Serve immediately, at room temperature or cover and refrigerate.
