For all of you who feel lost and alone. For all of you who feel beaten down by life. For all of you who have been told you are less than and unlovable. For all of you who feel broken and unseen. This is your blessing. Know the truth of God's heart for you. Hold tightly to this, it is your strength to carry on. You are seen, you are heard. You are loved.
May you know that you belong to the Lord and He will never let you go. May you know that the Lord sees who you truly are and like Simon (pebble/small stone), whom the Lord Jesus renamed Peter (rock/stone), you will be given a new name which no one knows, that the mouth of the Lord will bestow. May you know that while darkness covers the earth and its peoples, the Lord rises upon you and His glory appears over you. May you know that you will call, and the Lord will answer; you will cry for help and He will say: Here am I.
