This recipe a healthier baked instead of fried donut replaces traditional cocoa powder with with more nutrient dense, less processed cacao powder. Cooking Tips

If you don't have arrowroot starch on hand you can replace with potato, tapioca, or corn starch.

This recipe calls for more of a sweet, creamy milk chocolate frosting. But, if you prefer more bitter sweet dark chocolate icing skip the butter and use 4 tablespoon almond milk instead.

These Gluten Free Vanilla Donuts With Chocolate Frosting can be stored in an air tight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. Or in the refrigerator for 7 days. Store away from windows if it's hot were you live, otherwise the direct sunlight could cause the frosting to melt.
