Why I Love This Recipe

This 15-minute fresh peach salsa uses only 8-ingredient and turns out amazingly delicious every time! The variety of textures and flavors combine to make it a hit at any party!

Peach Salsa With Mango is such a versatile recipe. It's a great appetizer and is delicious scooped with your favorite tortilla chips, plantain chips, or raw vegetable sticks/strips. It's also scrumptious used as a condiment. Heap spoonfuls of it on baked, fried, or grilled seafood or recipes like Savory Tropical Meatballs.

Why refrigerate

Refrigerating 1 hour before eating allows all the flavors to mingle together and become even more delicious. However, this salsa is so good, we often cannot resist for that long and end up eating it all as soon as I've made it 😅.

Tips for picking good quality produce

Select fresh peaches that have some give to them when lightly pressed. Also, give them a sniff. If they smell sweet, they'll likely taste sweet as well! Mangos should also have some softness when lightly squeezed. Also, avoid mangos that are completely green as they aren't ripe yet. Ripe mangos have begun to turn either yellow, red, purple or some combination of these colors.

Making this salsa spicier

Additionally, you can easily adjust the level of spiciness in this Peach Salsa With Mango. If you want a spicer salsa use a jalapeño instead of poblano. Or, for a really spicy salsa, try a habanero 🥵.

However, my 7 year old thinks it's a little too spicy with fresh poblanos and I will occasionally make a batch with no peppers. Or I will scoop him out some salsa prior to adding the poblanos.

Storage tips

Refrigerate fresh peach salsa in an airtight in container for up to 2-3 days. Any longer than that and the peaches and mangos begin to break down and get mushy.
